I have to admit that I couldn't really connect with Eko's extremely minimal releases so far. With ambient, the movie in your head is even more important than with other styles - and Koutaro Fukui succeeds with this fantastically. He kicks off with a very atmospheric track that sounds like generated from one single synth. With "Fltic", Fukui aborts this extreme minimalism and combines electronica beats with wonderful melancholic piano and strings instead. Later on, he even makes use of an accordion and finishes with nice samples and noise on "Ordinary Kitchen".

Hi there...
Sometimes you mention the net label, sometimes you don't -- like on this item, it took me awhile to figure out how to find the original web site -- in other posts -- you might mention the netlabel, but not the website. Maybe, I'll find a link to net label in the navigation panel.
This is a long way of saying: I like to preview! Could you include a source URL in your posts?
Your blog is a great source -- I only follow a few music blogs, and this is one of them.
best regards/p
hi peter,
if you want to visit the website of the label itself directly, you find it on the right hand side in the links section.
however, if you want to go to the download page of the release discussed, just click on the "download here" line and you'll be linked to the release page (not to a file!).
tx!
doh -- guess I could used my eyes/mouse for that answer!
